۞ ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّىٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Allaahu noorus samaawaati wal ard; masalu noorihee kamishkaatin feehaa misbaah; almisbaahu fee zujaajatin azzujaajatu ka annahaa kawkabun durriyyuny yooqadu min shajaratim mubaarakatin zaitoonatil laa shariqiyyatinw wa laa gharbiyyatiny yakaadu zaituhaa yudeee'u wa law alm tamsashu naar; noorun 'alaa noor; yahdil laahu linoorihee mai yashaaa'; wa yadribul laahul amsaala linnaas; wallaahu bikulli shai'in Aleem
Bóg jest światłem niebios i ziemi. Jego światło jest podobne do niszy, w której jest lampa; lampa jest we szkle, a szkło jest jak gwiazda świecąca. Zapala się ona od drzewa błogosławionego - drzewa oliwnego, ani ze Wschodu, ani z Zachodu, którego oliwa prawie by świeciła, . nawet gdyby nie dotknął jej ogień. światło na świetle! Bóg prowadzi drogą prostą ku światłu, kogo chce. Bóg przytacza przykłady dla ludzi. Bóg o każdej rzeczy jest wszechwiedzący!
God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The likeness of his light is a niche, and within it a lamp; the lamp is in a glass, the glass like a brilliant star, kindled from a blessed tree — an olive, neither of the east nor of the west — whose oil would almost shine even if no fire had touched it. Light upon light. God guides to his light whom he wills, and God sets forth these likenesses for people, and God knows all things.
