بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْعُمُرُ ۗ أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِى ٱلْأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَآ ۚ أَفَهُمُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ
Bal matta'naa haaa'ulaaa'i wa aabaaa'ahum hattaa taala 'alaihimul 'umur; afalaa yarawna anna naatil arda nanqusuhaa min atraafihaa; afahumul ghaaliboon
Pozwoliliśmy używać dóbr tego świata - im i ich ojcom - jak długo potrwa ich życie. Czy oni nie widzą, że My przychodzimy na ziemię, zmniejszając ją po krańcach? Mogą oni zatem być zwycięzcami?
No — we let these people and their fathers enjoy life until their days grew long. Do they not see that we come to the land and reduce it from its outlying parts? Are they then the victors?
