أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِى حَآجَّ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ فِى رَبِّهِۦٓ أَنْ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّىَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا۠ أُحْىِۦ وَأُمِيتُ ۖ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْتِى بِٱلشَّمْسِ مِنَ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ ٱلْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Alam tara ilal lazee Haaajja Ibraaheema fee Rabbiheee an aataahullaahul mulka iz qaala Ibraaheemu Rabbiyal lazee yuhyee wa yumeetu qaala ana uhyee wa yumeetu qaala ana uhyee wa umeetu qaala Ibraaheemu fa innal laaha yaatee bishshamsi minal mashriqi faati bihaa minal maghribi fabuhital lazee kafar; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen
Czy ty nie widziałeś tego, który prowadził spór z Abrahamem w sprawie jego Pana, ponieważ Bóg dał mu królestwo? Oto powiedział Abraham: "Panie mój! Ty jesteś Tym, który daje życie i sprowadza śmierć." On powiedział: "Ja daję życie i sprowadzam śmierć." Powiedział Abraham: "Oto Bóg przywodzi słońce ze wschodu, więc ty przywiedź je z zachodu!" I zawstydzony został ten, który nie uwierzył. Bóg nie prowadzi prostą drogą niesprawiedliwych!
Have you not considered the one who argued with Ibrahim about his Lord, because God had given him kingship? When Ibrahim said, "My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death," he replied, "I give life and cause death." Ibrahim said, "God brings the sun from the east — so bring it from the west." And the one who denied was struck dumb. God does not guide a wrongdoing people.
