وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ۖ فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
Wallazeena yutawaffawna minkum wa yazaroona azwaajai yatarabbasna bi anfusihinna arba'ata ashhurinw wa 'ashran fa izaa balaghna ajalahunna falaa junaaha 'alaikum feemaa fa'alna feee anfusihinna bilma'roof; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Khabeer
Niektórzy spośród was umierają i pozostawiają żony; one powinny oczekiwać samotne przez cztery miesiące i dziesięć dni. A po wypełnieniu się ich czasu nie będziecie mieć żadnej winy z racji tego, jak one ze sobą postąpią, zgodnie z przyjętym zwyczajem. A Bóg jest w pełni świadomy tego, co wy czynicie.
As for those of you who die and leave wives behind, the widows shall wait four months and ten days. When they have completed this term, there is no blame on you for what they choose to do with themselves in a fitting manner. And God is fully aware of what you do.
