يَكَادُ ٱلْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْا۟ فِيهِ وَإِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Yakaadul barqu yakhtafu absaarahum kullamaaa adaaa'a lahum mashaw feehi wa izaaa azlama 'alaihim qaamoo; wa law shaaa'al laahu lazahaba bisam'ihim wa absaarihim; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer
Błyskawica omal nie odbiera im wzroku. Za każdym razem, kiedy ona daje im światło, oni idą w nim; a kiedy ogarnia ich ciemność , oni się zatrzymują. Jeśliby zechciał Bóg, to zabrałby im słuch i wzrok. Zaprawdę, Bóg jest nad każdą rzeczą wszechwładny!
The lightning nearly snatches away their sight. Whenever it lights the way, they walk on; when darkness closes over them, they stand still. Had God willed, he could have taken their hearing and their sight. God has power over all things.
