وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَآءٍ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَٱخْتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُ ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَصْبَحَ هَشِيمًا تَذْرُوهُ ٱلرِّيَـٰحُ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مُّقْتَدِرًا
Wadrib lahum masalal hayaatid dunyaa kamaaa'in anzalnaahu minas samaaa'i fakhtalata bihee nabaatul ardi fa asbaha hasheeman tazroo hur riyaah; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'im muqtadiraa
I przytocz im przypowieść o życiu tego świata, które jest podobne do wody, jaką My spuszczamy z nieba: miesza się z nią roślinność ziemi i potem staje się zeschłym zielem, które rozrzucają wiatry. Bóg jest nad każdą rzeczą wszechwładny!
And set forth for them a parable of the life of this world: it is like water we send down from the sky, and the plants of the earth mingle with it, then become dry stubble scattered by the winds. And God has power over all things.
