مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُوا۟ مَسَـٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ شَـٰهِدِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِم بِٱلْكُفْرِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ وَفِى ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ خَـٰلِدُونَ
maa kaana lilmushrikeena ai ya'muroo masaajidal laahi shaahideena 'alaaa anfusihim bilkufr; ulaaa'ika habitat a'maaluhum wa fin naari hum khaalidoon
Tidaklah pantas orang-orang musyrik itu memakmurkan masjid-masjid Allah, sedang mereka mengakui bahwa mereka sendiri kafir. Itulah orang-orang yang sia-sia pekerjaannya, dan mereka kekal di dalam neraka.
It is not for those who associate others with God to tend the places of worship of God while bearing witness against themselves with denial. Their deeds have come to nothing, and in the fire they will remain.
