فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Fa in tawallaw faqul lhasbiyal laahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa 'alaihi tawakkkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Azeem
Jika mereka berpaling (dari keimanan), maka katakanlah, "Cukuplah Allah bagiku; tidak ada Tuhan selain Dia. Hanya kepada-Nya aku bertawakkal dan Dia adalah Tuhan yang memiliki arasy yang agung".
If they turn away, say: God is enough for me. There is no god but him. In him I place my trust, and he is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.
This closes the surah, and the instruction is given to the Prophet alone: what to say once the appeal has failed and the audience has gone. Hasbiya comes from the root of reckoning, so the sense is of an account that already balances and needs nothing added. A surah that opened with severance from treaty-breakers ends with one man told where to place his trust.
