مَا كَانَ لِنَبِىٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
Maa kaana li Nabiyyin ai yakoona lahooo asraa hatta yuskhina fil ard; tureedoona aradad dunyaa wallaahu yureedul Aakhirah; wallaahu 'Azeezun Hakeem
Tidak patut bagi seorang nabi mempunyai tawanan sebelum ia dapat melumpuhkan musuhnya di muka bumi. Kamu menghendaki harta benda duniawi, sedangkan Allah menghendaki (pahala) akhirat (untukmu). Dan Allah Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.
It is not for a prophet to take captives until he has subdued the land. You desire the fleeting goods of this world, but God desires the hereafter. And God is mighty, wise.
