وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا بَيِّنَـٰتٍ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim aayaatuna baiyinaatim maa kaana hujjatahum illaaa an qaalu'too bi aabaaa'inaaa in kuntum saadiqeen
when Our clear revelations are recited to them, is to say, ‘Bring back our forefathers if what you say is true.’
And when our clear signs are recited to them, their only argument is to say, "Bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful."
