وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَـٰلِحًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا۟ فَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ
Wa hum yastarikhoona feehaa Rabbanaa akhrijnaa na'mal saalihan ghairal lazee kunnaa na'mal; awa lamnu 'ammirkum maa yatazak karu feehi man tazakkara wa jaaa'akumun nazeeru fazooqoo famaa lizzaalimeena min naseer
They will cry out loud in Hell, ‘Lord, let us out, and we will do righteous deeds, not what we did before!’- ‘ Did We not give you a life long enough to take warning if you were going to? The warner came to you, now taste the punishment.’ The evildoers will have nobody to help them.
And there they will cry out: "Our Lord, bring us out, and we will do good — not what we used to do!" Did we not give you a life long enough for anyone who would reflect to reflect, and the warner came to you? So taste it — for the wrongdoers have no helper.
