يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا ۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo izaa nakahtumul mu'minaati summa tallaqtu moohunna min qabli an tamas soohunna famaa lakum 'alaihinna min 'iddatin ta'taddoonahaa famatti'oohunna wa sarri hoohunna saraahan jameelaa
Believers, you have no right to expect a waiting period when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them: make provision for them and release them in an honourable way.
You who believe, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, no waiting period is owed to you on their part. Provide for them and release them in a gracious manner.
