Surah Al-Ahzab — 33:24

Li yajziyal aahus saadiqeena bisidqihim wa yu'azzibal munaafiqeena in shaaa'a aw yatooba 'alaihim; innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheemaa

[Such trials are ordained] so that God may reward the truthful for their honesty and punish the hypocrites, if He so wills, or He may relent towards them, for God is forgiving and merciful.

So that God may reward the truthful for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if he wills, or turn to them in mercy. Indeed, God is ever forgiving, ever merciful.
