يَعْلَمُونَ ظَـٰهِرًا مِّنَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ
Ya'lamoona zaahiram minal hayaatid dunya wa hum 'anil Aakhirati hum ghaafiloon
they only know the outer surface of this present life and are heedless of the life to come.
They know only the surface of this worldly life, and of the hereafter they are heedless.
