Surah Ash-Shu'ara — 26:90

وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

Wa uzlifatil Jannatu lilmuttaqeen

When the Garden is brought near to the righteous

And the garden will be brought near to the God-conscious,

Reflection

Movement belongs to the garden here: uzlifat has it drawn toward those who guarded themselves, while the fire in the next verse is uncovered for view — one closes the distance, the other is only made visible. Both verbs are passive, with no one named as doing it. The two scenes answer Ibrahim's prayer just above, which asked that he not be disgraced on the day of raising; his request opens straight onto the day itself.
