۞ وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ لَئِنْ أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُنَّ ۖ قُل لَّا تُقْسِمُوا۟ ۖ طَاعَةٌ مَّعْرُوفَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim la'in amartahum la yakhrujunna qul laa tuqsimoo taa'atum ma'roofah innal laaha khabeerum bimaa ta'maloon
[The others] solemnly swear by God that if you [Prophet] commanded them, they would march out. Tell them, ‘Do not swear: it is reasonable obedience that is required, and God is aware of everything you do.’
They swear by God their most solemn oaths that if you commanded them, they would march out. Say, "Do not swear. Honorable obedience is what is known. God is fully aware of what you do."
