يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ وَهُم مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِۦ مُشْفِقُونَ
Ya'lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum wa laa yashfa'oona illaa limanir tadaa wa hum min khash yatihee mushfiqoon
He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot intercede without His permission––indeed they themselves stand in awe of Him.
God knows what lies before them and what lies behind them, and they intercede only for those he has accepted, and they tremble in awe of him.
