Surah Al-Isra — 17:28

وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ رَحْمَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّيْسُورًا

Wa immaa turidanna 'anhumub tighaaa'a rahmatim mir rabbika tarjoohaa faqul lahum qawlam maisooraa

but if, while seeking some bounty that you expect from your Lord, you turn them down, then at least speak some word of comfort to them.

But if you must turn away from them while seeking a mercy from your Lord that you hope for, then speak to them a gentle word.
