وَسَكَنتُمْ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ
Wa sakantum fee masaakinil lazeena zalamooo anfusahum wa tabaiyana lakum kaifa fa'alnaa bihim wa darabnaa lakumul amsaal
You lived in the same places as others who wronged themselves before, and you were clearly shown how We dealt with them––We gave you many examples.
And you settled in the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it became clear to you how we dealt with them, and we set forth for you the parables.
