Surah Ibrahim — 14:17

يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأْتِيهِ ٱلْمَوْتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ

Yatajarra'uhoo wa laa yakaadu yuseeghuhoo wa yaateehil mawtu min kulli makaaninw wa maa huwa bimaiyitinw wa minw waraaa'ihee 'azaabun ghaleez

which he will try to gulp but scarcely be able to swallow; death will encroach on him from every side, but he will not die; more intense suffering will lie ahead of him.

He gulps it down but can barely swallow it. Death closes in on him from every side, yet he does not die — and beyond that lies a punishment still more severe.
