Hikma for Android is here

2026-09-08

Hikma is now available on Android.

It is the same quiet practice, built for the moments when you want to return to a verse, make space for a question, check the time for prayer, or simply read without being hurried. You can download Hikma from Google Play today, or keep using the iPhone app if that is where you already began.

A daily place to return to

Today opens with a daily verse and guidance: one small place to begin, rather than another feed asking for your attention. It is there for a few unhurried minutes in the morning, on a commute, or whenever the day has become too loud.

Reflect is for verse-linked reflection. When it brings a Qur'an passage into a conversation, the reference leads back to the text. It can help you stay with a question, but it does not issue religious rulings; questions of halal and haram belong with qualified scholars and the communities you trust.

The reader keeps Arabic, Hikma's English rendering, Turkish, and recitation audio close together. You can read at your own pace and return to where you left off.

Prayer, direction, and the rest of the day

Hikma includes prayer times and Qibla direction, calculated on your Android device from the location and calculation preferences you choose.

There are also duas for the ordinary turns of a day, a journal for what you want to keep, and Android home-screen widgets for a daily line, prayer times, Qibla, and Refuge. Refuge is a small verse of protection held close; it rotates from the bundled collection unless you choose one to pin.

Android joins the languages already at home in Hikma: English, Arabic, and Turkish, including right-to-left Arabic throughout the app and widgets where the system supports it.

Your account comes with you

If you already have a Hikma account, sign in on Android and continue there. Your saved journal entries belong to your account, so you can return to them across devices. They are not public posts. You can read more about account data and location services in our Privacy Policy.

Hikma is free to begin. Ameen and Ihsan membership options add more reflection and selected features; they are optional, and the app does not turn every part of practice into a subscription prompt.

Download Hikma on Google Play, or on the App Store for iPhone. If you are already reading with us on the web, you can keep doing that too.
