هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
Huwal lazee yusaiyirukum fil barri walbahri hattaaa izaa kuntum fil fulki wa jaraina bihim bireeh in taiyibatinw wa farihoo bihaa jaaa'at haa reehun 'aasifunw wa jaaa'ahumul mawju min kulli makaaninw wa zannooo annahum uheeta bihim da'awul laaha mukhliseena lahud deena la'in anjaitanaa min haazihee lanakoonannna minash shaakireen
it is he who carries you across land and sea. When you are aboard the ships and they sail with a favoring wind and the people rejoice in it, a violent gale overtakes them, waves crash in from every side, and they are certain they have been encircled — then they call upon God, devoting their faith sincerely to him alone: "If you deliver us from this, we will surely be among the thankful."
